“Three Songs” EP

Three Songs album cover
Type: EP
Released: July 17, 2012
Label: Fueled By Ramen
Tracks: 3
Genres: Pop/Rock

It is their first release with Fueled By Ramen label. The band decided to choose three songs for an EP that capture who they are best. Two songs are revisited versions from “Regional at Best” album” and there is one new song as well. They believed these three songs are a good way to share some of what they’ve been working on before the full-length album comes out (album “Vessel”).

The band manages to effectively blend a plethora of different musical genres, including pop, indie, rock, electronic, rap, and even a bit of reggae. It sounds weird, and it is, but it’s a very good weird.

Our review

This EP is the fresh breath of a band that defies genres. Their prior albums are amazing, with a song for any mood and honest lyrics that anyone can relate with. Pop, rock, hip-hop and electronic elements. It sounds weird, and it is, but it’s a very good weird. In addition to having fun and unique recordings, their live show is absolutely incredible and highly energetic.
