Our review

To summarize the concept behind the album it is enough to say that all of us have masks which hide the true us. The album reminds us that all of us have something to hide from the word. All of us have something which we do not want the world to know about us. Tyler, the lead vocalist and songwriter has tried to pull the masks down one by one in each of the songs. This is not something new in the field of alternative music but Tyler is the first artist to think out of the box and bring some really amazing idea to life and follow some untraditional ways to accomplish the goal he had set for the album. Tyler has used every single vocal acrobatic out there from rapping, crooning and wailing to screaming to get the message through to the audience which is really appreciable.

Speaking of the technical terms of music, he has the god-gifted talent of using all the possible vocal format without being unpleasant fr the listener. The synthesizer and piano work are really amazing. Piano is the lead instrument in the album and Tyler has managed to keep it rational and has never let it become unpleasant or irritating.

Each of the song addresses a specific topic or issue and Tyler has tried to bring positive change in the society with the help of good music. Technically the music is utterly flawless.

Josh’s efforts in making this album such a great piece of art can also not be forgotten. He has breathed life into the songs by the amazing guitar skills he has. Both of the men have utilized the best of their abilities. The concept behind these songs is to make the society better and they have pretty much attained it by winning the hearts of a number of people.

Well, according to the statistics, the best song in this album is “Holding on to You”. The song has a wonderful chorus and a fantastic beat. Some of the reviews of this song on various forums go like: “love this song to death”, “best song ever” and “this is an outstanding piece of music”.
